TYCHE star sign: sagittarius favorite food: retort pouch curry A bubbly, justice-loving ditz who was raised on a remote mining colony in space and left behind as a young child in the chaos of an incident that required everyone to evacuate. Robots brought her up until she was miraculously discovered by a ship that came through to strip what remained of the mine, after which she was rescued and settled on a populated planet with the hopes of making her debut in society... but since she never learned to socialize with other people, she becomes a bashful, stuttering mess when trying to talk to anyone. As a result, she can only make friends with robots, a fact she laments. Since she doesn't have many skills outside of self-defense (there's some gnarly critters in those space mines, and they aren't friendly!) she joined a private security firm as an armed guard, but it's a slow job where she doesn't get to interact with people much. Her goal of making 100 new friends seems rather far off... Dog person, but terrified of large dogs.

VTX-09 "VISHNU" star sign: n/a favorite food: n/a A decommissioned military robot. Still packs a lot of firepower, but his body has seen better days. Shows very little emotion other than brusque indifference, which you'd think is typical for an android, but those are usually programmed to be cooperative and friendly to avoid any uncanniness, so his aloof personality is actually quite unusual. That said, he'll do pretty much anything you ask him to, even if he doesn't seem thrilled about it. There's a tinge of bitterness and wistfulness underneath his flat demeanor that makes him seem eerily human at times. Some say they've spotted him sleeping, which should be impossible for a robot, but he denies it. There's rumors he's just a person in a suit, which he thinks are too stupid too address. Mia won't let him in the house because she hates the noise and exhaust smell. (Even though she works in a garage!?) Doesn't have strong opinions on cats or dogs.

MIA star sign: taurus favorite food: mapo tofu Lazy, vindictive, selfish, overbearing, stubborn, and generally unpleasant to be around, but has a mysterious aura that causes people around her to shrug and say "that's just how she is, I guess" and accept it without putting up a fight. Maybe it'd be more accurate to say she wears people down, but in any case, she has a way of getting what she wants. It's impossible to tell if she knows how inconsiderate she's being, but trying to explain it to her would be exhausting for everyone involved, so let's just let her do whatever she wants for now. Lives and works at Zack's mechanic shop to make rent, but often ends up getting roped into incidents despite her aversion to lifting a finger for anyone who can't offer her something in return. Her skill with firearms suggests some sort of history as a combatant, but has she ever mentioned anything like that...? Doesn't like animals.

ZACK star sign: capricorn favorite food: beef stroganoff Runs the mechanic shop where Mia helps out (in a loose sense). Inherited it from the previous owner, who abruptly announced his retirement when Zack had only been working there as an apprentice for a few months, but it turned out he had a naturally good business acumen and the place is thriving more than ever under his ownership. Mia was a past acquaintance of his who showed up needing a place to stay, and he obliged out of pity but soon came to regret it. Is older than he looks, and his small stature is a bit of a sensitive subject. He feels like he ages double for every day that he's around Mia. No-nonsense and down-to-earth, but a pushover. Cat person.
